Reflect on your positive process of change

So many people I know really want to get into great shape…but they view the process between now (less than optimal shape) and then (perfectly ‘in-shape’) as being one of negativity and deprivation. They think of all the things they will be missing out on, instead of focussing on the ways they will be honouring themselves by eating healthy, nourishing food, exercising, and taking the time to recover, relax and sleep well, and they lose sight of the benefits of being healthier and happier by creating habits of health.

It is surprisingly easy to ‘flip’ this view from a negative into a positive mindset of growth and evolution, and thereby begin to enjoy the moment AND the process of change.

  • Brainstorm all the positive reasons why you have embarked on this process of change, and all the positive things you will be doing during the process.
  • Reflect on these and begin to deeply integrate that you are in a powerful process of positive change.
