The bright, flashing screen of a computer or TV resets your diurnal rhythms and convinces you that it’s daytime and that you should be awake. Along with this, many of the themes on television are highly stimulating and can affect your sleep too.
Your bedroom should ideally only be used for sleeping, reading and, well…other ‘nocturnal activities’, not watching TV late into the night.
