Cliff’s 101 Tips for Health: Make a ‘double dinner’ so you have lunch for the next day

Lunch can be the most difficult meal to ‘get right’ consistently.

Lunch can be the most difficult meal to ‘get right’ consistently. All too often we find ourselves at work or on-the-go and without a good option ready at hand. So, we make the best choice available at a café or food hall, but all too often the choices available are less than ideal.

One of the most effective strategies my clients use is to cook twice as much as they need for dinner and immediately put away lunch for the following day. This eliminates the need to prepare a healthy lunch in the morning and reduces the chance of falling victim to the temptation of having to find something while ‘on the run’ at a café, deli or food-hall in which there may not be the healthiest options.

When preparing your dinner, simply make too much so that you can put away a meal for the following day’s lunch.
